Today's Verse:
Psalm 143:5
I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all You have done;
I reflect on the work of Your hands.
Today's Encouragement:
We are so forgetful. God could do something amazing today and tomorrow I may act like it didn’t even happen. We forget. We focus our attention on other things and do not dwell on the things that God has done. We are busy living our lives, tending to our responsibilities, family, friends, social media, etc. We get caught up in the hustle and bustle, then before we realize, we have lost track of all that God has done.
We forget that He is the Creator of all things. Of us. Of the entire Universe. His power is unmatched and He is mighty. We forget to pray not realizing that our Heavenly Father wants to help us and that He is able.
There are so many verses in the Bible that focus on words like: Remember, meditate, consider, dwell, think about, reflect, etc.
God wants us to remember who He is, what He has done, and what He says about us. He wants us to focus our minds.
Let’s go to Scripture daily to reminds ourselves of who God is, what He has done for us, and who He says we are.
Today's Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to focus my mind and intentionally remember all that you have done. Help me to still my mind on what you say about me, not what the World says. Thank you for all you have done for me. Everything I have comes from you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
